§ 61. Mr. P. Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when it will be possible for him to assent to the building of a new fire station at Swansea.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeI entirely share the fire authority's view that a new fire station is badly needed at Swansea, and 1 have already assured them that they may count on work starting during the course of next year. I am now advised that there is no reason why a start should not be made in January, 1954, provided that they can settle the plans with my Department within the next month or so, and on that point I do not expect any difficulty.
