68. Mr. Anthony Greenwood

asked the Minister of Works when it is proposed to repair or clean the staircase leading from the lower waiting room to the Committee floor of the House of Commons.

The stained glass windows of the Grand Committee staircase will be restored during the summer Recess. When next year's Estimates are being prepared the possibility of cleaning the staircase will be considered.
