§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThese Regulations were made in consultation with the National Maritime Board and with their full agreement. As my hon. Friend no doubt knows, the National Maritime Board is fully representative of both the shipowners and the officers and men of the Merchant Navy. In addition the Dock and Harbour Authorities Association and the Docks and Inland Waterways Executive were consulted and their agreement obtained on those Regulations which were of particular concern to them.
