asked the Minister of Health if he will arrange for a young man, particulars of whose case he has been sent, to be allowed to go home for the day occasionally from St. James's Hospital, Portsmouth.

This is a matter for the medical superintendent of the hospital to decide and I cannot intervene. I am advised that he considers the patient unsafe to be at large.
