Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the tourist road schemes which are to be developed or improved as a result of a grant of £723,800 in 1982 received by the Devon county council and the £876,900 received by the Devon county council for industrial road schemes.
Mrs. ChalkerThe tourist and industrial road schemes in Devon which received European regional development fund grant in 1982 are as follows. I should explain, however, that the figure of £723,800 for tourist schemes, given in the Prime Minister's reply of 13 July—[Vol. 45, c. 351] — to my hon. Friend's earlier question should have read £724,800 and that some of the grant would have been received by the district councils mentioned in the list rather than by the county council.
