asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether any funds provided to British Airways to acquire aircraft to replace the Trident fleet will cause the Government to exceed the borrowing limit under the Civil Aviation (Amendment) Act 1982.

I certainly expect British Airways to keep within its statutory borrowing limit.
