asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware of the total disappearance of prunes in this country; and, in view of the fact that they are a necessity for many invalids and elderly people, what action he is taking to obtain adequate supplies.

Dr. Hill

The United States is the principal source of supply of prunes, but owing to our dollar difficulties we cannot at present afford to import them.
