HC Deb 13 July 1953 vol 517 c117W
32. Mr. Hastings

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is satisfied with the arrangements now made by those in charge of United Nations' prisoners of war in Korea to prevent escape or release.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

According to my information the United Nations Command have made the best arrangements possible, in the difficult circumstances prevailing, to guard effectively the prisoners of war in their custody.
