§ Mr. Fenner Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what type of labour is to be employed in the construction of the airport at Embakasi in Kenya.
§ Mr. LytteltonAs work must be found for convicts, whose number has almost doubled in the last year, the construction of this airport has been advanced by the Kenya Government and for a time a proportion of the labour employed on it will consist of convicts. The remainder will be ordinary labour at current wage rates.
