HC Deb 26 January 1953 vol 510 cc84-5W
Mr. Dudley Williams

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General how far the number of trunk calls in the Exter area, between the hours of 6 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., has decreased.

Mr. Gammans

The number is higher than a year ago. The average daily figure for the period between 6 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. was 1,353 in December, 1952, an increase of 6.5 per cent. over the corresponding figure for December, 1951.
