asked the Minister of Fuel and Power (1) what is the estimated cost of the programme of capital development he has agreed with the Coal Board under Section 3 (2) of the Coal Industry Nationalisation Act, 1946, for the current year and the next two financial years;

(2) what is the estimated cost of the capital programme he has authorised under Section 5 of the Electricity Act, 1947. for the area boards and central electricity authority for the current financial year and the next two financial years.
