HC Deb 19 February 1953 vol 511 cc156-7W
101. Mr. K. Robinson

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the abnormally high incidence of tuberculosis among persons from abroad who have taken up residence in the St. Pancras area, as disclosed in a report of the St. Pancras chest clinic to the North-West Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board; what information he has with regard to other parts of London; and if he will institute a nation-wide survey of this problem.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I am aware that such a report has been made to the Regional Hospital Board, but I have not yet received the Board's recommendations on it. I have no comparable information for other parts of London, but the general problem has already been referred to my Standing Tuberculosis Advisory Committee.
