HC Deb 11 February 1953 vol 511 c31W
33. Mr. R. Bell

asked the Minister of Food what steps his Department takes to ensure that adequate supplies of whole-meal bread, free from adulteration, are available to the public.

Major Lloyd George

Subject to a licence, which is freely granted, any miller may supply wholemeal flour without any additions and bakers are free to meet all demands for bread made from this flour.
