asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will give particulars of the service of Lieut.-Colonel Read-Collins in the Far East.

This officer held the following appointments during his service in the Far East30th July, 1945, to 30th November, 1945: General Staff Officer II, E. Group, South-East Asia. 1st December, 1945, to 30th September, 1946: Commander (Lieut.-Colonel) Nos. 3 and 4 War Crimes Investigation Teams. 1st. October, 1946, to 30th June, 1948: Commander (Lieut.-Colonel) British Minor War Crimes Liaison Section.

He was released in 1949 and is no longer connected with the Army.
