HC Deb 09 February 1953 vol 511 cc6-7W
55. Lord Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Minister of Transport when his Department is going to undertake the demolition of the old Waverley Hotel, Fort William, which was due for demolition in 1939, and which still obstructs the High Street, Fort William.

Mr. Braithwaite

The demolition of this hotel will be undertaken as soon as funds can be made available for road works designed to relieve traffic congestion.
