HC Deb 02 February 1953 vol 510 cc172-3W
59. Mr. Viant

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that, despite the promise given that traffic lights would be installed at the Neasden roundabout by Christmas, 1952, the promise has not been fulfilled; and if he will give the reasons for this and an indication of when the promise will be fulfilled.

Mr. Braithwaite

Necessary alteration in the services and mains have taken longer than expected and I am afraid that it is unlikely that the installation will be completed for another five months.
