HC Deb 18 December 1953 vol 522 c119W
Mr. Hollis

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the difficulties of the growers of drying grass owing to the absence of a guaranteed price; and what measures he is proposing for their relief.

Sir T. Dugdale

I know that some producers of dried grass for sale are finding difficulty in disposing of their produce at a remunerative price. As regards the second part of the Question, I am at present considering representations about the marketing problems that were recently made to my Department by the Association of Green Crop Driers.
