Mr. Brockway

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will appoint an independent commission of inquiry into the circumstances associated with the deaths of 11 Africans and the injury and arrest of many others during recent disturbances in the Southern Province of Nyasaland, following the incidents at Luchenza and Cholo, which have already been the subject of inquiry.
