§ Mr. GammansIn subscription television, the station broadcasts its programmes in a scrambled form and a viewer wanting to see a programme puts a coin or special token into a decoding apparatus connected to his set. There are no great technical problems in providing such a service but I can see no scope for it at present in this country.
