§ Sir D. EcclesThe production of bricks is steadily increasing. Demand next year may be greater, but if recommended economies are followed the demand should be met. The supply position of bricks cannot be judged by the size of stocks which, because of double handling charges, are always low. I hope, however, there will be some improvement this winter.
