§ Mr. Gowerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware of the concern felt in South Wales about the possible damage to the holiday beaches of Barry Island, Cold Knap, Porth Kerry, Rhoose, Fontygary and Aberthaw by waste deposits which would result from the proposed building of a power station at The Leys, Glamorgan; and if he will consult with the Minister of Fuel and Power to prevent this.
