§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftFrom 1st October, 1951, to 30th September, 1952, there were 2,034 bankruptcies. For the annual periods ended 31st August, 1951, 1950 and 1949, the numbers were 1,948, 1,809 and 1,432 respectively.
