§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe information available in my Department indicates that, excluding ships under repair, 18 British ocean-going ships over 1,600 g.t. were laid up in the United Kingdom at the end of last month and two a year ago. As regards the small ships the numbers were 12 and four, respectively.
