§ Mr. EcclesOn 1st November, 1952, there were 4,797 non-industrial staff in the regional offices of my Department in England and Wales, compared with 6,978 on 1st November, 1948.
The corresponding figures for the Scottish Branch are 1,017 in 1952 and 1,490 in 1948.
