§ Mr. LytteltonThe recommendations of the Joint Negotiating Committee on Teachers' Salaries, which have been adjusted to take into account the recent revision of Government salaries in Nigeria, have been sent to the Regional Executive Councils for their urgent consideration.
When their views are known a decision will be taken by the Council of Ministers and the Legislature will be asked to approve the necessary expenditure, but some further time must necessarily elapse before this can be done.
