§ Mr. GammansThe numerical dialling codes in use in the Lichfield area for subscribers wishing to make calls to exchanges other than their own are similar to those in other parts of the country, and our general experience is that subscribers welcome the facility. I am aware that the telephone service in the Lichfield area is 63W not at present altogether satisfactory, due to shortage of automatic equipment and cables, but I hope it will be remedied in a few months.
