§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterAs my right hon. Friend has already informed the House, he has taken steps to make it clear to the banks that in applying their advances policy they should give full weight to the importance of agricultural production. I am confident that the banks are co-operating fully in carrying out the Government's policy in this respect. This applies to Kent as well as to all other counties.
