Macphersonasked the Minister of Health why persons who have to attend hospitals far from their own homes for treatment of injuries received in the war through enemy action should, subject to a means test, have to pay or contribute towards the cost of travelling to and from the hospital in the same way as ordinary Health Service patients; and whether he will ensure that, in future, they will be exempt from such a charge.
