§ 86. Mr. P. Robertsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether, in view of the present totally inadequate arrangements, he will take steps under Section 5 of the Water Act, 1945, to obtain a proper survey of consumption and demand of water for the camp erected for the Youth Peace Festival to be held in Sheffield at Whitsun, in order to ensure that this camp does not become insanitary and a threat to the public health of the district in which it is situated.
§ Mr. MarplesMy right hon. Friend understands that the local bodies 139W responsible for water supply and sanitation are aware of the physical needs of the camp and they naturally have no responsibility for the doctrinal side.
