Robinsonasked the Minister of Agriculture what reports he has received from the Agricultural Research Council with regard to the experiments recently conducted in the use of antibiotics in animal feedingstuffs; and, in particular, if these experiments confirm the American successes in fattening pigs and poultry in this manner.

DugdaleExperiments on this subject are still in progress and the Agricultural Research Council tell me that it is too soon to add to the statement they recently released to the Press, a copy of which I am sending to my hon. Friend It is hoped that results from which valid conclusions can be drawn will be available before the end of the year
