§ Mr. Youngerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on the new restrictions imposed by the Icelandic Government upon the right of British fishermen to fish 84W in waters around Iceland; and whether he proposes to take any action.
§ Mr. Selwyn LloydThe position created by the new Icelandic fishery regulations is at present being studied by the Departments concerned. I should prefer not to say anything more until this examination has been concluded.
