asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many persons were present to hear the address given by the General President of the Northern Rhodesian African Congress to the Working Committee at Kitwe on Christmas Day, 1951.

Three persons attended. The meeting was abandoned and the General President did not deliver the speech, although it was sent to newspapers with the information that he had done so.
