§ Mr. Swinglerasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence the annual amount it would cost to raise the retired pay of all officers of the Armed Forces who retired before 1st September, 1950, to the rates applicable to officers who retired after that date and which were published in paragraphs 2 and 3 of Appendix I to Command Paper 8323, 1st July, 1951.
