§ 62. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Minister of National Insurance what steps his Department is taking to rectify the circumstances whereby a man receiving Industrial Injury Benefit is having to sacrifice on an average about 23s. per week in loss of 137W wages and expenses to attend a hospital, whereas his Industrial Benefit only amounts to 11s. per week, details of this case having been sent to him.
§ Mr. PeakeI am looking into the case to which the hon. Member refers and will write to him. I do not think there is any ground for amending the Law to provide additional benefits in circumstances of this kind.
