Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will consider amending the regulations which make it necessary for the word "adopted" to be put on the marriage certificate of an adopted child, in view of the distress which this practice causes to both the parents and child concerned, where the latter has been brought up as their own child.
