§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeLord Runciman has accepted the invitation issued on behalf of Her Majesty's Government by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to be Chairman of the Committee. The constitution of the Committee has not yet been settled, but I hope that it will be possible to make an announcement shortly.
