§ Mr. NuttingThere are 127 Europeans and 293 non-Europeans employed on the staff of the Commissioner-General for South-East Asia. Their salaries and allowances amount to about £218,000 a year. The cost is shared by Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and the Governments of the Federated Malay States, Singapore, Sarawak, North Borneo and Brunei.
