66. Mr. Baker White
asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that the population of the village of Broad Oak, and dairy farms and market gardens in the area, are unable to get any water from the mains except very early in the morning and late at night; that there is serious inconvenience to residents and danger to public health; and if he will take urgent action with the authorities concerned to ensure that a proper supply of water is made available immediately.145W
§ Mr. Marples
My right hon. Friend understands that the water company has now improved the water supply to Broad Oak. Proposals to prevent future shortages are being examined.
