§ Mr. EcclesI have been asked to reply to the hon. Member's first Question. No applications were received or granted in the period for extensions to clay roofing tile yards. One application was received and granted for a licence for an extension to the value of £3,000 for a concrete roofing tile yard in the Southern Region.
The following table gives the applications received and licences issued for brickyards in the period 1st January to 31st May, 1952.
