§ 85. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether consideration has been given to the need of arranging for groups of artisans to visit this country for further training and experience similar to the scheme promoted by the Gold Coast Government and now operating in this country.
§ Mr. LytteltonConsideration is not at present being given to further schemes for the training of groups of artisans in the United Kingdom, though training is arranged from time to time for individual artisans as the need arises. Colonial Governments in general rely on the local facilities available in technical colleges and departmental trade schools for the training of artisans.
