§ Mr. EcclesThe total value of licences issued between 1st January, 1947, and 31st December, 1951, for the building, reconstruction, repair and decoration of offices, including colliery offices, for the National Coal Board, is £1,090,646. The corresponding figure for staff residences is not available in my Department as licences for living accommodation are normally issued by local authorities
