asked the Minister of Fuel and Power the aggregate sum of money represented by past and current licences issued by his Department for building, reconstructing, repairing or decorating of offices and showrooms for the British Gas Council.

Since nationalisation, work at the headquarters of the Gas Council, estimated to cost about £10,000 has been approved by my Ministry, after consultation with the Ministry of Works.
