§ Mr. SandysThe iron and steel industry is assisting the Liverpool Corporation financially to make available all the scrap from the tram tracks in Liverpool as the tramway services cease. The industry has already purchased 1,400 tons, of which 1,000 tons have been cleared and sent to steelworks.
