asked the Secretary of State for War to consider making greater use of the special facilities that exist in this country for the training of suitable officers and other ranks in the languages of the peoples of Korea and Malaya.

I am aware of the facilities available in this country. At present our needs for training officers270W and other ranks in the languages of Korea and Malaya are being met by training carried out locally in the Far East. Facilities for the teaching of the Chinese language in this country are being used.
