§ Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Works the present position with regard to the Government science centre; and whether it is intended that the necessary buildings should be erected on the South Bank site.
§ Mr. EcclesI regret that the planning of the science centre has had to be deferred in view of the need for economy. When the economic situation improves it is hoped to lease a site on the South Bank immediately below Waterloo Bridge.
