§ Mr. MackesonIn addition to the general assistance which was described in the answer given to the hon. Member on 24th April, special facilities are available in the case of Canada and the United States whereby the Export Credits Guarantee Department guarantees a part of the cost of market surveys. Permission to remit the dollars needed to pay for such work is normally granted readily under Foreign Exchange Control regulations.
