§ 67. Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Transport if he will appoint a Departmental committee to investigate the adequacy of the roads or otherwise, the conditions created by the increasing speed, and volume of traffic, and the accidents on the roads.
§ Mr. MaclayFor the reason which I gave to the hon. Member on 24th March in reply to his Question about the appointment of a Royal Commission, I do not think it necessary to appoint a Departmental committee.
