HC Deb 22 November 1951 vol 494 c83W
98. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Health how many foreign dentists and doctors are now domiciled in this country and unable to follow their profession: and what steps he is taking to utilise the services of these professional men.

Mr. Crookshank

I regret that no figures are available. Foreign-trained dentists and doctors can be registered in this country if they can satisfy the criteria laid down by Parliament. The question of reviewing the arrangements applicable to dentists so as to facilitate registration is being considered.
