asked the Prime Minister if, after appropriate consultation with the United States authorities, he will make available to the House the detailed reports in the possession of His Majesty's Government, prepared and submitted by United States specialised combat troops, as to the relative merits of the.280 rifle, as compared with alternative weapons.
