§ Mr. Manuelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he proposes meeting the representatives of the local authorities' associations in order to discuss the repercussions of the increased interest charges to be paid on moneys borrowed from the Public Works Loan Board for housing and other purposes.
§ Mr. J. StuartI have drawn the attention of the associations to the statement made by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 7th November, and have asked them to consider their position preparatory to a meeting on housing subsidies to be arranged as soon as possible.
